AMAZING! We are so happy that we got them. Everyone enjoyed it from grown ups to the kids. Loved the we were able to do large group photos which was great. It’s not timed and your photos look great. Attention to detail is amazing. from background and lighting to the envelopes everything is taken care of to make everyone look the for the picture(s). One word: AMAZING! This is not the ordinary photobooth where only 4 people fit in a shot, it’s timed and your photo looks sloppy. The attention to detail is what made us say yes to Step It Up. From the beginning Howard, is throwing out ideas to improve your wedding reception. From background, carpet, and lighting, everything is taken care of to make everyone look their best. We fit groups of 10 in one picture. My guests can’t stop talking about the pictures and are constantly posting all over social media. I had the privilege of working with Howard and his photo technicians long before I was even engaged. I met him at a huge volunteer event that takes places in Conventional Hall is Asbury Park. From the moment I met Howard and his crew, I knew they were different. Unique. Talented. Fun! They are so good, and such a crowd favorite, that we now have a yearly event with Step It Up as our photo booth. As the years began to pass, I really started to consider Howard a friend of mine. Long before I was even dating my now husband, I knew Howard and Step It Up would be at my wedding. There was never a doubt about it in my mind. I was finally engaged, and it was time to secure a photo booth. I was immediately on the phone with Howard. He had a wedding the night before mine, and the night after, but he was thankfully available on the night of my wedding! He assured me that he would be there- and he was! Throughout the planning process, I spoke with Howard periodically about the background, the props, our table cards and the prints. He was so easy-going yet detail oriented. He knew exactly what vibe and look we were going for, and he made it a reality. When my guests were in the reception and they saw the Step-and-Repeat, they were blown away! They were expecting a traditional photo booth where you are lucky to squeeze more than two people in it. When they saw the red carpet, the lights, and the beautiful backdrop, they felt like celebrities! Howard is and was so great at making sure you are centered in the frame, that all 17 of you and your friends are in the shot, and that everyone is looking! He and his assistant made sure that everyone received a 4x6 copy of the picture, and helped you upload it any and all social media outlets, or text/email it out. Howard has created something so different. So unique. So fun! It is always such a hit. Working with Howard is as easy as it gets. He is good at what he does, and he delivers an amazing end result. I cannot speak highly enough of Howard and his crew. They always Step It Up!!

Howard and his team from Step It Up did a great job designing the custom banner and staffing the photo booth at our rehearsal dinner! This was no "ordinary" photo booth like you see at other weddings or events, where they give out little tiny printed pictures. This photo booth had to be 8 feet high by 10 feet long and we chose to have Howard design a custom banner (what we used to call a back-drop) for all the photos, based on samples of other work Howard showed me. The result was stunning, nice, big, highly personalized digital shots that they could print out and give immediately to our guests (using any of 6 different filters!) or email / post if they preferred - right there! The future bride, groom and everyone in attendance were excited and happy! Having this at our rehearsal dinner really helped to make it a fun event for all in attendance.

Found out about step it up events at a family wedding and the next day I contacted them for my sons wedding. It was perfect, I received so many compliments about them. Would definitely recommend them and I will definitely use them again.

I CANNOT say enough about Howard! If you are looking for a fun and unique event idea, Howard is your guy. I first met him and his awesome photo booth at my aunts wedding. At that moment I knew we needed him for mine and my husbands wedding. He is real and doesn't hide anything from you. Which meant a lot because being able to trust my vendors was a huge thing for me. We would have the BEST phone conversations and I never hung up feeling as though my questions were not answered. Howard was the only vendor I had a close connection with. He cares so much about his business and delivers some amazing pictures. This photo booth isn't just your typical booth, Howard delivers high quality actual photos you can put into a frame. My husband's grandmother left with a stack of pictures for her home. His attention to detail is INSANE! For our backdrop he created this killer monogram with a Zelda sward through the center of it. It wasn't tacky and looked "elegant" which was great and fit our theme. You will not regret hiring him and the best part is that he isn't overly priced. This type of photo booth also captured some crazy photos our photographer couldn't capture. I thought about it as having two different photographers at our wedding. I also loved how Howard pulled my husband and I aside for five minutes and took "Mr and Mrs" shots of us. Doing that was supper fun and meant a lot because due to the time restrictions we were unable to capture certain pictures I really wanted of the both us. So, being able to take some pictures of us in the photo booth made me so happy and we were able to take those pictures home that day. I have them framed and on display and whenever I look at them they just make my heart happy. Like I stated earlier, you will not regret choosing Howard or his team. Howard and his team did a fabulous job at our wedding this past weekend! The quality of their photobooth and pictures are amazing and unlike the average booth you find in other weddings. I contacted Howard to rent a photo booth after attending my sister in law's wedding and had a blast there taking photos with family. The photobooth setup by Step it Up Events was an amazing attraction to have at our wedding! We loved the beautiful setup and so did all of our guests! Step It Up events was such a special and unique part of our wedding! Since it's not your typical closed off photo booth you are able to get your picture taken and still feel like you're a a part of the rest of the wedding. They provide every guest with a 4x6 print right after your photo is taken and even give you an option to send the picture directly to your phone. I've been to weddings where the person in charge of the photo booth doesn't say a word to you but the guys who ran the booth were interactive, friendly, and helpful. Howard pays attention to every detail had the most awesome backdrop made with our initial, wedding date, and our color theme. Howard and his team did an amazing job at our wedding - the guests couldn't get enough of the photo booth! All of our guests were raving about the booth and having it at their events! Step it up events was absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding... they provided us with exceptional services both during the planning phase as well as during our wedding . Howard was very detailed and worked with us in regards to the custom design of our step and repeat background! Our set up was absolutely beautiful! Our open photo booth gave our wedding a Hollywood glam feel! I can't begin to say enough positive things about Howard and Step It Up Events! They truly are the most professional photobooth company out there (and I've seen many!), and the results truly exceeded our expectations. We hired them for my husband's 40th birthday party, and our guests were completely blown away. Howard and his associate were an absolute pleasure to work with, and they truly delivered upon the promise of a beautiful backdrop set-up, velvet rope, and red carpet. The photo quality is spectacular, and the way in which they orchestrated and organized each photo (with numerous people and props in them) was amazing. They set the tone by being extremely courteous, polished, professional, and fun. Look no further... this is hands down the only photobooth company that you should work with. I have to say I was hesitant to have a photo booth at my wedding, but after seeing Step it up Events at another wedding, I was sold! It's not your typical self run, black box in a corner with a kid from craigslist sitting there. It's completely open with an interactive staff. There is a professional photographer posing people along with another staff person assisting people with instantly sharing to social media or text...and it's instant! On your phone, email or social media in seconds. You can also instantly print actual 4x6 prints. My custom backdrop was amazing! I am not a creative person at all so Howard, the owner asked me my colors and style and designed a beautiful backdrop. Not only did my husband and I get some great shots, but we fit 14 people into one shot! We had a very small wedding with no DJ, so the photo booth was our only entertainment and I'm so grateful we decided to have them at our wedding. All of our guests took part in it and had an amazing time. The staff and whole experience will be continued to be talked about by our friends and family for a very long time! I've been to so many weddings and there have been photo booths at almost all of them and none of them could stand up to this one that I used for my wedding. This isn't a basic do it yourself cheesy booth. This company is hands on for the entire length of the event and maintains the booth in the most orderly efficient way I've ever seen. Their prints are incredible 4x6's that are produced for each guest in seconds. Howard did an amazing job on accommodating our special requests for our backdrop and designed it himself and it was gorgeous we couldn't have asked for more. The props were top quality along with the red carpet, lighting and velvet ropes. Everyone commented on how incredible it was and how it was one of their favorite parts of my wedding. When its your own wedding it's very difficult to time manage and make sure you touch all the bases but what I am most grateful for is how Howard made sure he rounded my husband and I up to take some key shots of just the two of us that ended up being my images for my Thank You cards. Howard and his company are truly the very best you can get for this type of service and made my wedding feel like a celebrity event. You will not be disappointed so don't hesitate.

There is nothing negative that could be said about Step It Up Events. They have changed the photo booth game period. I have seen many other open photo booths and it's the same lame film strip pictures in an open environment with no sharing or its a separate sharing system from an iPad. I could not believe how cool and engaging their touch screen system were by having the ability to instantly change my filters of my pictures like Instagram, every picture stayed on the kiosk screen the entire night and all the ways I could share and print them instantly. They also had amazing cool props and the entire setup was beautiful. I asked my friend how much she paid and my jaw dropped as I thought it would have been double of what they charged. I will be booking them for my future wedding when the day comes!

Step It Up Events was a great added feature to my daughter's bridal shower. We had a party theme of Hollywood Wedding Movies and Step It Up was great in using their "green screen" to add to the fun. All the guest were having so much fun taking pictures and we had so many compliments of the "best shower ever". Thanks Howard!

Life of the party! Memories live on long after the day!

My guests were very impressed with the 4x6 quality prints, the filters and the social media uploading. While a photo booth has become a standard at weddings, this was a great way to keep that element but add a twist to make my wedding unique.

Let me first start by saying that I came across Howard and Barb from Step It Up Events at a friends wedding. I had never seen an open photo booth before. Within 10 minutes I looked at my fiancé and said, "I don't care what we need to cut out we are having this photo booth at our wedding." I cannot say enough good things about them...it was PERFECT. I had so many guests come up to me to tell me how amazing the photo booth was and that they loved the fact you got your pictures within a few seconds and that you can text, email, and post the pictures to social media RIGHT FROM THEIR SET-UP!! They were by far the easiest vendor to work with and worth every penny! If you are looking to have some seriously awesome memories book with them!

We decided to use Step It Up Events two days before our wedding! Howard was extremely accommodating and professional. He made a personalized background and set of information cards within a day and a half! He was the best decision we made! All of our guests raved about him & loved that they got pictures immediately and on site! All of his props were extremely clean and new. Our photo gallery was available within two days and we received a 5x7 and USB with all of our pictured in 6 days!!! USE THIS VENDOR!!!!

He has a keen eye for attention to detail and is very thorough with the services he offers. We had a custom step and repeat open air photo booth. Howard created our step and repeat monogram logo and we couldn’t be happier with the design. My husband and I chose Step It Up Events for our wedding on 9/26/2014. Howard and his staff were professional from the planning phase to the wedding night. The options that were provided to us were limitless and allowed us to really make our wedding an event that our family and friends won’t soon forget. Our wedding was almost 2 months ago and our guests are still raving about their red carpet experience. I would recommend them for any upcoming event if you want to make it memorable and fun for all in attendance. This was one decision i was proud of and would do it again!

Two months after our wedding people are still talking about how much fun our green screen was! My husband and I wanted to have an activity for our guests in addition to drinking and dancing. He had the idea to have a green screen photographer. I'm so glad that we didn't just find anyone, we found Howard and Step it Up Events! We gave Howard a list of 9 ideas for background images. He did some research, and then we picked our favorite 6 to use on our wedding day. We used some pictures that were our own- our favorite beach and a mountain shot from when we first met. Howard found the others for us- on the surface of the moon, in front of the Eiffel tower, etc. Howard also designed a logo for us to put on the frames that we passed out to our guests. We wanted the green screen to be an activity at our wedding, but it ended up doubling as awesome favors for our guests to take home. Howard has a huge chroma key (green) screen that is the same quality the tv weatherman/woman uses. He takes the pictures himself. Everything is lit professionally so you don't get shadows.This really shows in the quality of the pictures. It is way better than stuffing people in a photobooth. We opted for unlimited 4x6 prints for our guests. You can print your picture with any (or all) of the 6 backgrounds, add filters to them, and upload them to the internet from their kiosk. It is easy to use yourself, but Step It Up provides someone to help your guests. (Barbara was super friendly and helpful). I have no hesitation in recommending Step It Up for an out of the box photo experience. Howard is an excellent photographer, and has a great eye for design. He is very professional. Everything promised was delivered, including a usb drive of all of the pictures that night, and everything uploaded to a password protected site the next day. We had bad weather at the beginning of our honeymoon and enjoyed reliving the wedding with those pictures from our hotel room.

We were at an event that Step It Up covered and were completely impressed. Their service is unlike any we had seen before and totally obliterates the traditional photo booth setup. Booking was simple and Howard has been both accomodating and his creativity and energy are limitless. We can't wait to roll out the red carpet on our wedding day and blow our guests away. The fact that our guests will be able to share their photos of our special day on all social media platforms made this a no brainer. Looking forward to Stepping it Up on 9/26/14!!
